2003 Australian International Beer Awards Festival
The Australian International Beer Awards Festival is Australia’s most prestigious beer event. Held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre from 2 – 4 May 2003, this unique event provides beer enthusiasts with a great opportunity to taste an unparalleled range of beers from Australia and around the world. Beer enthusiasts can learn more about differences in styles of beer, how beer is brewed and appropriate food and beer matching, or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere over an award-winning beer and some of the delicious food on offer.
Attendance is only $30 which includes a souvenir tasting glass and a beer catalogue of results from the 2003 Australian International Beer Awards. The Festival is to be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre ( Bays 1&2) at the following Session Times:
Session1: Friday 2nd May, 5.00pm – 8.30pm
Session 2: Saturday 3rd May, 1.00pm – 4.30pm
Session 3: Saturday 3rd May, 6.00pm – 9.30pm
Session 4: Sunday 4th May, 1.00pm – 4.30pm

Melbourne, Australia - The inaugural Melbourne Festival of Beers is to take place at Sandown Racecourse, Sandown Road, Springvale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 11, 12 and 13.
Designed as a celebratory showcase for Australia's finest beers, the festival will allow patrons to savour the delights of over 100 of the nations premier boutique brews and be entertained by top Australian and international musicians. The festivities take place in Sandown's covered all-weather venue. A food hall catering for all tastes will ensure no-one
goes hungry either!
Throughout the three day festival featured bands and musicians include The Screaming Jets, international rock legend Johnnie Johnson, James Reyne,
Mick Thomas, Painters and Dockers, BABBA, Crazy Haus and many more as well as
comedy from Chris Frankin and crew.
The Festival opens at 6.oopm Friday the 11th and continues from Noon on Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th , until late each night .
Great value tickets are available from Ticketek at only $20 (plus booking fee) or $25 at the gate. Direct Dandenong line trains stop at the Sandown entrance or access by car is directly from the Princes Highway,
Springvale.
